EFFECT OF ATRATAF 50W ON POLLEN GERMINATION AND TUBE GROWTH OF TWELVE HOURS STORED POLLEN OF APOCYNACEAE

摘要

Pollen stored 12 hours at the room temperature of F series of pink and white-flowered cullivars of Nerium odorum did not germinate in the sucrose medium supplemented with atrataf 50 W. Decrease in the germinability of pollen and tube growth was noted with the stored pollen. However, herbicide did not show any effect on the germinability of pollen and tube growth as well as the rate of decrease in the germinability of pollen and tube growth of successive flowers of Apocynaccae are concerned.
