Experiences and problems with the establishment of hedges in empty agriculture landscapes

Hedges are ecological priority-areas. They have no or only a small economic value for farmers. By means of using-and management-plans for agricultural determined landscapes was estimated the need of hedges in different natural regions of Thuringia. After that, hedges need at least 0, 3/100 of the total utilizable agricultural area. The main factors for hedges-planting are available areas, Finances and care of the project. Practical ways of solution Are explained.
