Studies on new NLO crystals in CdO-ZnO-B2O3 system

Several compounds with different ratios of Cd, Zn and B possessing nonlinear optical (NLO) properties were obtained by spontaneous nucleation and the top-seed solution growth (TSSG) method. Their physical and chemical properties, especially, the second harmonic generation (SHG) coefficient of their powders were studied by carefully comparing them. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V.
