Template-assisted synthesis of Sb_8O_10(OH)_2I_2 tubular crystals under hydrothermal conditions

摘要

Mesoscale octaantimony decaoxide dihydroxide iodide (SB_8O-10(OH)_2I_2) tubular crystals have been successfully synthesized for the first ime through a hydrothermal rote from Sb_2S_3, NaI and NaOH at 200deg.c. IN the process, the Sb_2S_3 prismatic crystals serve as templates and play an important role in the formation of the Sb_8O_10(OH)_2I_2 tubular Crystals in alkali aqueous solution. The products are characterized by x-ray powder diffraction and scanning electron Microscopy.
