Lisa Watanabe's Securing Europe is a good, interesting and short book, clearly derived from a PhD thesis. It appears in Palgrave's New Security Challenges Series, and is well suited to it. It is attractively presented, in a better than average hardback cover, but at ￡55 it is unlikely to find a commercial success beyond libraries and the niche scholar, which is a shame.
