As I look back on the last year, we covered a variety of topics from what was then an emerging recession to synchronization. As we now navigate one of the most severe recessions of the last century, it is worth asking what comes post-recession. During this trying time, a quiet revolution is underway in computing. It is a revolution that promises to shake the foundations of information industries and potentially all companies. Cloud computing and application widgets promise to reshape the knowledge economy.
