摘要

This study provides specific suggestions about the products and markets where community marketing is beneficial for organisations. Findings suggest that community marketing is beneficial where organisations have limited access and knowledge about an emerging market. Further, community marketing is suitable for organisations having innovative products targeted at fulfilling important needs of under-served customers. The study demonstrates that community marketing results in economic and social sustainability (Box 1).
