Business model performance: five key drivers

So far, most academic studies looked primarily at types and elements of business models and proposed a large number of distinct explanations of business model performance. As a consequence, managerial guidelines that holistically assess and imagine ways of improving business model performance are lacking. In this article, we contributed to addressing this issue by proposing a set of performance drivers and mechanisms as well as a list of guiding questions that bridge static and dynamic perspectives on business model performance.
