Model of dynamics of a detached meridional chain as a forming element of working frame of a large space antenna reflector of a perspective frame-supporting type is described. The model is derived by using Lagrange equations with multipliers. Simulation results for dynamics of a meridional chain in the form of change of configuration of forming elements in the course of a prescribed angular turn of reflector are presented.
