LA STATISTIQUE AU SERVICE D'UN OBSERVATOIRE DE L'ENSEIGNEMENT SUPÉRIEUR

In this paper we present statistical tools elaborated for helping those who are in charge of higher education in the management of the educational system in the french Community of Belgium. We will consider descriptive and prospective aspects of these tools as well as some specific indicators. Finally we will evoke possibilities to improve this tool.%Le but de cet article est de présenter les outils statistiques mis en place pour aider les responsables de l'enseignement supérieur de la Communauté française de Belgique à gérer ce système éducatif. Nous porterons notre attention sur les aspects descriptifs et prospectifs de ces outils ainsi que sur quelques indicateurs spécifiques à ce problème. Nous évoquerons enfin les possibilités d'amélioration de cet outil.
