Technical Committee and Subcommittee Reports

The ASBC Technical Committee and Subcommittee chairs conducted a number of method evaluations through collaborative study, and coordinated a range of additional activities during 2013-2014. As a result, the following methods are being recommended for inclusion in the ASBC Methods of Analysis (MOA): 1. Rapid Immunoassay Method for Deoxynivalenol Analysis in Barley, chaired by Theresa Chicos (Rahr Malting). 2. Headspace Gas Chromatography/Electron Capture Detector Analysis of Total Vicinal Diketones in Beer, chaired by Grant Ruehle (New Belgium Brewing). 3. β-Glucan in Wort - Spectrophotometric Method, chaired by Unju Kim (Novozymes).
