Albert Einstein created the special theory of relativity postulating that: 1) the speed of light is the same for all observers, whether or not they are moving, and 2) anyone moving at a constant speed should observe the same physical laws. Albert realized that space and time are relative, an object in motion actually experiences time at a slower rate than an object at rest. The closer an object gets to the speed of light, the object experiences time at a significantly lower rate. This Is the essence of the time-space continuum. The faster you go, time slows relative to you as the moving object compared to someone observing you from a stationary position.
