About the Authors

Guenter has worked in ATC since 1979. He started his career working for ten years in operations at ACC and Approach Frankfurt. In 1990 he changed to the DFS Headquarter and worked on many projects with increasing levels of responsibility. In 2004 he took over responsibility for the entire Operational ATM Systems department in the DFS business unit center. His major objectives are to establish Operational Concepts and Requirements for Future ATM Systems, to define and conduct operational tests including the quality management and to define the midterm planning for the DFS business unit center.
