A Modernised Air Traffic Management System: Near-Term Environmental Solutions For Aviation

Climate change is a serious global concern, and its impact presents a significant challenge for commercial aviation. At Boeing, we are actively developing technologies and systems for a modern air traffic management (ATM) system to enhance safety, reduce congestion and delays, and lower aviation's impact on the environment. ATM improvements represent the greatest near-term opportunity to significantly reduce aviation fuel burn and CO_2 emissions.
