This year has already been such a transformative year for so many reasons, and we're only halfway through it. Our world is on the cusp of big change, and we as an industry are navigating an incredibly uncertain ecosystem. Just in terms of aviation, we've never experienced a disruption this severe. At the beginning of this new decade, it was forecasted that we would have a record travel year. Goes to show one can never be fully prepared for what lies ahead. The COVID-19 pandemic changed everything: how we live, how we interact, and how we travel. I personally have never traveled less and stayed home more. No one could have predicted this at the beginning of 2020. One of the most overused phrases of 2020 is, "Due to COVID-19, we are living in an unprecedented time," but there is truly is no better way to describe this year.
