A new airborne Base Transceiver Station (BTS) service is constructedrnand verified on a Low Altitude Flying Platform (LAFP). Arntelecommunication signal relay via LAFP is proposed. To establish effectivernfrequency isolation, the downlink relay falls on the construction of steadyrnMicrowave Air-Bridging (MAB) between LAFP and ground E1 optical fiberrnnetwork. An efficient GPS-to-GPS (G2G) tracking system is designed andrnimplemented using Adaptive Neural Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS)rnalgorithm for controlling the antenna pointing mechanism. Flight tests usingrnultra-light aircraft are carried out to verify the microwave link performancernwith acceptable feasibility and reliability on the proposed LAFP for airbornernmobile communication services.
