Abstracts of Papers in Acoustical Science and Technology

摘要

Recently, acoustic event and scene analysis have been extensively developed because it will be very valuable in applications such as monitoring of elderly people and infants, surveillance, life-logging, and advanced multimedia retrieval. In this article, I reviewed the basics of acoustic event and scene analysis; term and problem definitions of acoustic event and scene analysis, public datasets that are available for this sort of analysis, challenges to be solved, and recent research trends.
