Abstracts of Papers in Acoustical Science and Technology

摘要

Nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF) is a powerful technique that extracts meaningful patterns from an observed matrix and has been used for many applications in an audio signal processing field. This article reviews the principle of NMF and some extensions based on a complex generative model. Also, an application to audio source separation is presented.
