Where Are All the Librarians of Color? The Experiences of People of Color in Academia

Editors Rebecca Hankins and Miguel Juarez address in the introduction those potential critics who suggested that there has already been enough written about diversity in academia. From the pointed remark that no one suggests enough has been written about Shakespeare to laying out the realities of racism in the 21st century, Hankins and Juarez make a firm case for the validity of their research and the critical importance of taking an honest look at race and diversity in the academic library.
