摘要

A simple and convenient method for detection of bacteria which interfere with growth of Staphylococcus aureus was successfully devised. S. aureus strain as interfere was mixed with serially diluted preparations of bacteria for candidate as interfere, and one drop of the bacterial mixture was inoculated on PAF200RP plate to observe coagulase activity as indicator for staphylococcal Growth. By estimating the diameter of halos formed around bacterial mass on The plate, the degree of bacterial interference to S. aureus was roughly evaluated. With the procedure presented here, the selection of suitable candidate bacteria for Control of S. aureus through bacterial interference might be practically facilitat- Ed.
