Construction Plan Of Tohoku Through Line

摘要

On completion of Tohoku through line, the transportation network which links the north to the south of the metropolitan area via the east side of Yamanote Line will be constituted. Many passengers have high expectations for this project. However, the construction is expremely difficult to execute right over the Shinkansen as we have described in this report. We are determined to construct it, taking the safest measures and giving much consideration to environmental influence.
