East Japan Railway Company (hereinafter referred to as "JR East") aims to establish a system for "Smart Maintenance" that enables more efficient and reasonable maintenance while intending to shift the base of the maintenance work for the railway facilities from TBM (Time Based Maintenance) to CBM (Condition Based Maintenance) . We developed, for the signal bond for track circuit (hereinafter referred to as "signal bond"), a device that monitors the image of the installed signal bond to determine whether a disorder occurs (disorder determination device for signal bond). This article describes the device.
