The pace of unpublicised US airstrikes against targets in the northwestern area of Pakistan continues to build up as part of the US campaign against terrorism, writes Doug Richardson.rnAt the time of writing and according to local media there had been 12 reported strikes since the start of 2010 (see list, right), two of which had been mounted only an hour apart on the same day.rnIn comparison, there were six reported attacks in December, three in November and three in October.
