Raytheon's next-gen RAM Block 2 completes CTV test campaign

Raytheon Missile Systems has revealed that the next-generation Block 2 variant of the RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) has completed three successful instrumented control test vehicle (CTV) flights to demonstrate the system's upgraded kinematic capabilities.rnCo-developed by the US and Germany, RAM is a supersonic, lightweight, quick reaction, fire-and-forget missile providing defence against anti-ship cruise missiles, helicopters, unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) and surface craft.
