Boeing to integrate Harpoon Block IIs on Indian SEPECAT Jaguar fighter aircraft

The US Naval Air Systems Command, Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201), intends to award a contract to Boeing for the integration of Harpoon Block II AGM-84L and ATM-84L missiles on to the SEPECAT Jaguar fighters of the Indian Air Force (IAF). The contract will cover 24 months of work. Since McDonnell Douglas (now part of Boeing) was the designer, developer, manufacturer and supplier of the Harpoon AGM-84L and the ATM-84L training missile, it is the only company with the engineering capability, resources, expertise, knowledge and proprietary technical data needed to carry out this task.
