Complex relationship: UK, France evolve R&T partnership for missile technology

Twelve years after the United Kingdom and France launched the Materials and Components for Missiles Innovation and Technology Partnership (MCM ITP) programme, the two governments and their key industry partners are preparing for a follow-on co-operative research and technology (R&T) initiative to be rolled out in 2020. To be known as the Complex Weapons Innovation and Technology Partnership (CW ITP), the new initiative will build on the MCM ITP model but with the goal of delivering a more flexible R&T portfolio to support future collaborative technical demonstrations.
