NATO's latest live-fire test of its emerging missile defence capability established the direct connectivity of targeting data between allied command and control (C2) early warning stations and deployed national assets, according to NATO officials. The results from the early November test boost the system's resiliency and reaction time as it allowed the exercise's participants to obviate the need for stationing a deploy able C2 communications unit in the field.
