French parliament recommends changes to intelligence agencies

A French parliamentary commission into the terrorist attacks on Paris in January and November 2015 has proposed sweeping changes to how French intelligence and law enforcement agencies are structured and coordinated. One of the key recommendations of the commission is the establishment of a national anti-terrorism agency, attached to the prime minister's office, to carry out "threat analysis, strategic planning and operational co-ordination".
