South Korea rolls out prototype of its first indigenous multirole fighter aircraft

Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) has rolled out the first prototype of the multirole fighter aircraft being developed indigenously for the Republic of Korea Air Force (RoKAF) under the Korean Fighter experimental (KF-X) programme. Officially named the KF-21 Boramae, the twin-engined aircraft was officially unveiled in a ceremony held on 9 April at KAI headquarters in the South Korean city of Sacheon, South Gyeongsang Province, that was also attended by South Korean President Moon Jae-in and Indonesian Defence Minister Prabowo Subianto.
