VKS takes delivery of first Su-57 fighter

Russia's armed forces have taken delivery of their first serial production Su-57 fighter aircraft. Production aircraft #01 was delivered to the 929th State Flight Test Centre in Akhtubinsk in southern Russia on 25 December, according to Russian media reports. First indications of the delivery emerged after photographs of aircraft #01 landing at Novosibirsk's Tolmachevo civilian airport to refuel appeared online on 25 December. The aircraft sported Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) markings and the insignia of the 929th Centre.
