Development of the first Colombian-Spanish UAV advances

Colombia and Spain are progressing work on an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that has been in development since early 2019. The Sistema RPAS Tactico de Altas Prestaciones (SiRTAP) UAV being developed by Aeronautical Industry Corporation (CIAC) in Colombia and Airbus in Spain is to enter into its preliminary design phase, Jane's was recently told by a source familiar with the programme.
