China issues strong warning to Taiwanese 'separatists' in new defence White Paper

In its 2019 defence White Paper China has reiterated its warning to "separatists" in Taiwan that the island "must and will be reunited" with the mainland, pointing out that Beijing does not rule out the use of force to "solve the Taiwan question".
