Arab forces take steps to develop 'unified doctrine'

Senior military trainers from across North Africa and the Middle East have met to develop a comprehensive joint training programme to activate Arab armed forces to respond to regional crises.rnPalestinian military sources told Jane's on 7 June that directors of military training from 18 countries gathered a month earlier in Cairo for two weeks of planning sessions to synchronise training methods and methodologies, while also laying the groundwork for future exchanges by top military personnel to observe regional allies carrying out national training regimes.
