French aerospace, defence and security technology group Safran and the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) have signed a strategic partnership agreement to broaden collaboration between the two entities.rnAt Airshow China in Zhuhai on 16 November, the two groups indicated the agreement will strengthen already well-established ties in the civilian aerospace sector and will include military aviation. "The partnership between Safran and AVIC is designed to expand the scope of collaboration between the two groups to include all of their subsidiaries' business sectors," the groups announced. "A strategy committee will be created comprising leaders of the two groups, who will study each new project and determine the best joint response."
