Chemring stalls ADG deal in light of DoJ probe

UK company Chemring has said it is unwilling to go ahead with its planned acquisition of Allied Defense Group (ADG) under previously agreed terms after receiving feedback from the US Department of Justice (DoJ) regarding investigations into ADG.rnChemring said on 1 June that it was "reviewing its options with regards to ADG, which may include a restructuring of the transactions contemplated by the merger agreement", details of which were announced on 19 January.
