NATO forces destroy key Tripoli airport radar site

Libyan leader Moammar Ghadaffi continues to deploy defence forces against shipments of humanitarian aid destined for civilians, in defiance of the relentless bombardment of his military assets under the four-month-old NATO campaign.NATO said the decision was made on 18 July to strike a key radar site at Tripoli airport, which loyalist forces were using to track and target allied aircraft, to prevent further disruption of humanitarian supply delivery.
