Malaysia has rejected allegations of corruption in the country's 2002 deal to purchase two Scorpene submarines for the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN).Defence Minister Dato' Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said in parliament on 26 June that the Scorpene submarine procurement was conducted according to the country's guidelines for defence acquisitions and that the government had not paid commission to a third-party company.
