Elbit announces Hermes 900 deal for Switzerland

Elbit Systems has been awarded an approximately USD200 million contract by the Swiss government for the procurement of its Hermes 900 unmanned aircraft system (UAS), the company announced on 26 November. The contract, which was placed by the Swiss Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS), covers the supply of an unspecified number of Hermes 900 HFE (Heavy Fuel Engine) UASs and a ground control station.
