The Argentine Air Force received its first two Tecnam P2002JF Sierra aircraft on 20 September from a batch of eight leased from Aerotec Argentina: a company that assembles the trainers locally in Rivadavia, Mendoza province. The USD2 million contract includes training and spares, and the avionics include a Garmin G500 display and an integrated communications and navigation system, according to the Argentine government and Tecnam.
