Israeli Navy to get Seahawks for new corvettes

A notification released by the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) on 6 July has revealed that Israel plans to acquire eight surplus US Navy SH-60F Sea-hawk helicopters for its corvettes. The DSCA said that the US State Department has approved the possible sale of an estimated USD300 million in equipment and support for SH-60F Seahawks: a type that is not currently operated by the Israeli military.
