Rolls-Royce reactor component site to be expanded

Rolls-Royce has received permission to expand a facility on its site in Derby, UK, that manufactures reactor components for the nuclear-powered submarines operated by the Royal Navy (RN). Approved on 6 November, the move will see the Primary Component Operations facility located in Raynesway, Derby, extended by some 50,000 sq ft, facilitating additional capacity in producing nuclear reactor components and creating 80 more jobs.
