Army restructuring its acquisition process around six modernisation priorities

The US Army has a new set of six modernisation priorities and it will re-organise its acquisition structures specifically around those efforts, Acting Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy told reporters on 9 October. "We've been studying this for a quite a bit of time and it's got 120 days left" to finalise plans for a new structure, Army Chief of Staff General Mark Milley said during the same briefing at the Association of the US Army's (AUSA's) annual meeting.
