South Korea to mass produce truck-mounted howitzers

South Korea's Hanhwa Techwin will begin serial production of its 105 mm truck-mounted howitzer from 2018, the country's military procurement agency has confirmed. The Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) said in a statement on 28 June that final trials of the system - known as the EVO-105 Evolved Wheeled Self-Propelled Howitzer - had recently been completed and that mass production of the system will start next year.
