Rolls-Royce and Kale creating joint venture with eye on Turkish fighter programme

Rolls-Royce is forming a joint venture with Turkey's Kale Group initially looking to manufacture engines for the Turkish Fighter Experimental (TF-X) programme, the companies announced on 8 May. Rolls-Royce will own 49% of the joint venture, while Kale will own the remaining 51%, making the new company majority Turkish owned.
