Miami welcomes first A380 arrival

Lufthansa became the first airline to offer a scheduled A380 service to Miami with daily flights from Frankfurt beginning on 10 June. Officials at Miami International Airport said that careful planning will help the US hub avoid a repeat of the 11 April 2011 collision between an Air France A380 and a Comair CRJ-700 on Taxiway A at New York JFK International.
