Open sesame: Alibaba delivers Al for Beijing

Beijing Capital International Airport has implemented an artificial intelligence (AI) solution to mitigate apron delays. ET Aviation Brain was developed by Alibaba Cloud, a division of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group. Powered by the Apsara Aliware computing engine, ET Aviation Brain is designed to improve apron utilisation at BCIA by up to 10%. This is achieved by automatically directing pilots to their parking space, instead of relying on a time-consuming manual process.
