To handle the weighing of its frozen snacks, Belgian producer Ad van Geloven turned to Ishida, also involving them in the design phase. The added value of their "Funmix" range of mixed snacks is in the presence of multiple ingredients in a single pack: for example one 426 g bag of "Funmix Spicy" contains six pieces for each of the four types of different appetizers. Ad van Geloven has therefore set up a new packaging line, able to mix snacks in two different types of bags, but to also manage individual products at high speed and to weigh the mixtures of the other brands of snacks packed in windowed boxes.
