Listening to user needs for ITU standards

In March 1995, ITU's General Secretariat commissioned a "Market Study on User Requirements for ITU Recommendations" to the United Kingdom company, Romtec Telecommunications Research (see ITU Newsletter, No. 3/95, page 25). Over 700 clients of ITU Recommendations as well as 400 potential customers were approached with a view to investigating the publication process, media, usage pattern, market and price.
