Following the high-level workshop on International Standards for medical technologies, the Guest View is brought to ISO Focus by the hosts and co-organizers of the event, the World Health Organization. Dr. Vladimir Lepakhin, WHO Assistant Director-General for the Health Technology and Pharmaceuticals Group and Dr. Timothy Evans, WHO Assistant Director-General for the Evidence and Information for Policy Group, share their views on the influence of ISO standards and the role of the various actors involved in ensuring the progress, safety and quality of medical technologies.
