Derivation of Shrinking Core Model for Finite Cylinder

摘要

A model has been developed to describe the shrinking core style conversion of solid finite cylinder by gas. The model describes the three limiting cases of gas film diffusion, product layer diffusion and chemical; reaction controlled kinetics. The model is validated with experimental data obtained from literature. Rate constants obtained are similar to those from literature.
